Back in 2010, I was consulting for a mid-sized manufacturing company in Brisbane. Their monthly financial close was taking three weeks, and the team was working overtime every month just to get basic reports out. The owner was frustrated because he couldn't get timely information to make decisions.

That's when I realized something important. Most businesses weren't struggling with complex financial theory — they were drowning in inefficient processes that nobody had taken the time to properly map out and fix.

Started his career as a management accountant at a logistics company, then spent eight years as Finance Director for a growing tech firm. Kieran knows firsthand how chaotic financial processes can make your job impossible — and how the right systems can transform everything.

He holds a CPA and has led finance transformations for companies ranging from $2M to $500M in annual revenue. When he's not redesigning workflows, you'll find him cycling the Gold Coast hinterland trails.
